Open Air Open Mics

7-8:30pm every Second Friday

The second Friday night of every month we will gather outside on our patio, bringing together a supportive community of those who love music, the spoken word, comedy, and creative arts.

This is a time when imperfect people can come together and encourage one another to step out and share something new, to be vulnerable enough to be ourselves, to take a risk, and discover we are appreciated just as we are. Whether you have something you want to share or if you want to cheer on others who do, we want you here!

How will you use your five minutes?

Want the details?

I’m coming to cheer on the performers! What do I need to know?

  • Bring a lawn/folding chair (we’ll have a few on hand but you’ll be more comfortable in your own)

  • Bring whatever you need to stay warm—we’ll be outside on the patio—unless it’s less than 60 degrees. Then we’ll be inside at the same location! We’ll also move indoors if it rains. The show must go on!

  • There’s no cover charge, but if you can bring some canned goods, we’d love that! We’re running a non-perishable food drive for West Valley Community Services. Check out what they need the most

  • Feel free to bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages

I’m coming to perform! What do I need to know?

  • Slots are 5-10 minutes, depending on how many performers we have, but includes your set up time

  • Sign up with the form below to get a slot, or come at 6:30pm the night-of!

  • Bring your instrument (unless you’re playing keys—we’ll provide a house keyboard: a Roland Juno-DS 88)

  • We’ll have two mics, a 1/4 inch connection for your instrument, and two music stands

  • Keep it family-friendly! If PG-10 were a rating, that’s what we’d be going for

  • If you want to sit while performing, we’ll have a chair up front for you, but you might want to bring your own chair for enjoying the other performances

  • If it rains or is less than 60 degrees, we’ll move indoors at the same venue
