Upcoming community gatherings

  • The Neighborhood: Cupertino's Co-Working Collective

Come hang out! We’re open from 1-5pm most Monday & Friday afternoons as a co-working space. We love the flexibility of working from home, but we know how isolating and lonely that can be.

Come join a welcoming indoor/outdoor co-working space that has a relaxed coffee shop vibe but with more of a community feel, a place where you’re known and can greet each other by name. Think of this as a space where you can come and focus on work, but also have as a launch pad to make new friends that you can get to know after work too.

We’d also love to showcase local artists and host pop-up shops—so if you are one, have one, or know one, please let us know!

And by the way, the Neighborhood is one of the ways we serve, love, and get to know our neighbors, so it’s free. That’s pretty rare around these parts, so we thought you might want to know!

  • Dinner Discussion Group

This weekly dinner discussion group (called Alpha) is designed for anyone who is looking to make friends over a meal with meaningful conversation, and is open to and interested in hearing a variety of perspectives on life and faith.

On Monday February 3 from 6:15-8:15pm, we’ll have an interest meeting/meet-and-greet to see who wants to join the weekly Monday night dinner discussion series running until April.

Email us at hello@wvneighborhoodchurch.org to RSVP so we know how many to cook for, or to ask us any questions you have! You can also click below to learn more about what a typical Alpha evening is like. (We think it’s awesome, and we think you’ll think so too!)

  • Open Air Open Mics

The fourth Friday night of every month we gather outdoors on our patio (or indoors if the weather is unfriendly), bringing together a supportive community of those who love music, the spoken word, and creative arts.

This is a time when imperfect people can come together and encourage one another to step out and share something new, to be vulnerable enough to be yourself, to take a risk, and discover you are appreciated just as you are. Whether you have something you want to share or if you want to cheer on others who do, we want you here!

We’ll experiment with different formats, but would love to have some sign ups in advance, while we also leave some open spots for the night of! Help us spread the word that West Valley has a new open mic night!
